Dec 23 — Luke 2:8 Shepherds in the fields — proof it wasn’t winter.
Welcome to my Daily Nerd Out Session!
This is where I dig into the verses we lean on most and pull out key insights you might have missed. I like to call it the space where faith meets curiosity.
Most of the verses I share come straight from The Bible App—you know, the one in the Play Store with the red cover that just about everyone has. It’s one of the most widely used apps in the world, which makes it a great launchpad for exploring Scripture.
But here’s the fun part: if there’s a verse you’re curious about—or one that keeps popping up in your life—tell me! I’ll gladly do the digging and bring back the details: the language, the culture, the history, and the kind of depth that makes God’s Word come alive.

The video version is what I see as home jam, worship with friends, maybe deep cry to God. The mp3 (no video) is what I see as church ready for a brave church. What do you like better? Vote today. Just give stars below the song to vote. The style with the most stars will get the most style time heres.

Imagine a small group of believers gathered quietly. No church buildings. No public safety. Many are new converts who just walked away from pagan worship, festivals, and household idols.

Ephesians 5:11 is often misunderstood. Many read it as a call to confrontation.Others read it as a call to withdrawal.

Paul is not speaking to pagans who reject God. He is speaking to people who love spirituality. Athens is full of worship... altars, temples, rituals, philosophy, curiosity.

The sun eases its way over the rooftops of Jerusalem. A woman steps outside before the city awakens, carrying bread instead of ornaments. In a small home, oil lamps cast a soft glow. There’s no raised platform here, just a low table.

Isaiah is not describing atheists. He is describing church folk.
