If you could bring one of the prophets into a modern December church service, the room would fall silent. Not because of judgment, but because of the grief in his eyes.
Dec 8 — 2 Kings 17:15 They followed worthless idols and became worthless.
They didn’t wake up one morning planning to fall away from God. No one in Israel said, “Today, let’s abandon the One who rescued us from Egypt.”

Dec 6 — Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who mix darkness with light.
The Hebrew word “woe” (hôy) is not an angry shout. It is a grieving cry, the sound someone makes when watching a loved one destroy themselves.
Dec 5 — Leviticus 18:3–4 “Do not follow their customs.” God draws a hard line.
As we step into the 5th of December, the tone shifts. Today’s Scripture doesn’t leave room for creativity, softness, or reinterpretation. God’s instructions are direct, precise, and uncomfortable for anyone who wants to live on their own terms.
