Why I Wrote the Survival Field Manual

Every project has a story behind it. For me, the Survival Field Manual wasn’t created because I was afraid of what’s happening in the world. It was born out of love—specifically, my love for my husband and my desire to help him grow closer to God.

 The Heart Behind the Manual

I saw a need in our own life: the need to connect practical living with spiritual strength. My husband and I have faced challenges—just like anyone else—and I wanted a way to blend wisdom, encouragement, and Scripture into something we could walk through together.

This manual became a bridge. A way to combine the hands-on, real-world tools of survival with the deeper, eternal truths of faith.

Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” My prayer is that this resource sharpens us—not just for physical readiness, but for spiritual growth, for unity, and for walking closely with Christ.
